The Urantia Book was gifted to earth in the beginning of the 20th century when science began its real impact on our civilization. The celestial authors of the Urantia Book gave us many insights in the book, just to fire up our curiosity and augment our scientific advancements, at a time when the scientific knowledge was accessible to only a few people in the world. The Revelators of the book gave us many hints, suggestions and possible guidance for us so that we advance our scientific and historical discoveries in the right direction. Here are some examples:

[An independent group of Urantia Book enthusiasts under the leadership of Mr Halbert have undertaken dedicated research to highlight the authenticity of various aspects of Science and History that have been given in the Urantia Book. I recommend those visitors who are interested in science and history to read these interesting things researched by Mr Halbert and his team. All these information regarding their project is given in their UBtheNews Website]

The following is a news item regarding scientific discoveries as appeared in the media in this year, 2010.

'Scientists have discovered an ancient galaxy which has been recorded as the most distant mass in the universe. The collection of stars, which has been given the catchy name UDFy-38135539, was measured at 13.1 billion light years away. The team of European scientists calculated the distance by measuring the galaxy's light, which has taken almost the same amount of time as the universe has been around to reach Earth.Calculations were made using a Very Large Telescope at the European Southern Observatory in Chile. One of the British astronomers who was part of the team, Professor Malcolm Bremer from the University of Bristol, told Sky News: "These observations are at the limit of what can be achieved with the best current technology on the best telescopes available today."

Future developments in technology, such as the James Webb Space Telescope replacing the Hubble Space Telescope, will step up scientists' ability to carry out new studies, he said. When the galaxy's light protons first started their journey to Earth, the universe was only 4% of its age.To put that into perspective, scientists believe the Big Bang occurred 600 million years earlier.

Scientists are hoping galaxies such as UDFy-38135539 will give them a better understanding of a time in the universe called the "epoch of reionisation", when radiation from primeval galaxies changed the physical state of surrounding hydrogen gas. This will give astronomers an insight into the process of the universe's evolution.'

Okay, let us see one quote from the Urantia Book, which came to print in 1955, a time when we were just beginning to understand the cosmos !

For example, let us see some of these informations as taken from the Urantia Book below:

15:3.1 Practically all of the starry realms visible to the naked eye on Urantia belong to the seventh section of the grand universe, the superuniverse of Orvonton. The vast Milky Way starry system represents the central nucleus of Orvonton, being largely beyond the borders of your local universe. This great aggregation of suns, dark islands of space, double stars, globular clusters, star clouds, spiral and other nebulae, together with myriads of individual planets, forms a watchlike, elongated-circular grouping of about one seventh of the inhabited evolutionary universes.

15:3.2 From the astronomical position of Urantia, as you look through the cross section of near-by systems to the great
Milky Way, you observe that the spheres of Orvonton are traveling in a vast elongated plane, the breadth being far greater than the thickness and the length far greater than the breadth.

15:3.3 Observation of the so-called
Milky Way discloses the comparative increase in Orvonton stellar density when the heavens are viewed in one direction, while on either side the density diminishes; the number of stars and other spheres decreases away from the chief plane of our material superuniverse. When the angle of observation is propitious, gazing through the main body of this realm of maximum density, you are looking toward the residential universe and the center of all things.

15:3.4
Of the ten major divisions of Orvonton, eight have been roughly identified by Urantian astronomers. The other two are difficult of separate recognition because you are obliged to view these phenomena from the inside. If you could look upon the superuniverse of Orvonton from a position far distant in space, you would immediately recognize the ten major sectors of the seventh galaxy.

15:3.5 The rotational center of your minor sector is situated far away in the enormous and dense star cloud of
Sagittarius, around which your local universe and its associated creations all move, and from opposite sides of the vast Sagittarius subgalactic system you may observe two great streams of star clouds emerging in stupendous stellar coils.

15:3.6 The nucleus of the physical system to which your sun and its associated
planets belong is the center of the onetime Andronover nebula. This former spiral nebula was slightly distorted by the gravity disruptions associated with the events which were attendant upon the birth of your solar system, and which were occasioned by the near approach of a large neighboring nebula. This near collision changed Andronover into a somewhat globular aggregation but did not wholly destroy the two-way procession of the suns and their associated physical groups. Your solar system now occupies a fairly central position in one of the arms of this distorted spiral, situated about halfway from the center out towards the edge of the star stream.

Yes, science need not be anti God or God-neutral any more ! We are being facilitated to understand science and God in a new way, different from what we have been taught in the ages before, by the Fifth Epochal Revelation [FER] -the Urantia Book- directly by super-human authorities from God's side, with no possible dilutions by inferior human minds. A reason good enough to pay attention to what the FER says-seriously.

For those interested to know more about the detailed cosmology of the universe organization as presented in the Urantia Book, a reading of Paper-15- THE SEVEN SUPERUNIVERSES- would be worth. Please click on the hyperlinked title to read the paper online from the truthbook site.

Such a knowledge, help me and many like me, to build a strong belief in God , unlike the earlier unstable belief based solely on religious teachings and philosophy.
